Where are all the good male voice actors?! Upon closer inspection of the list of the Best Voice Actors and Actresses categories, I must ask this important question. For those who do not know, Maile Flanagan is the voice… um how do I saw this… actress that voices Naruto… I always hated Naruto’s voice from the first few seconds upon hearing it dubbed, and now I have more of a reason, Believe It! To continue, Sasuke’s voice actor Yuri Lowenthal is up for the nom and I disliked his voice almost as much as Naruto’s. Because Sasuke is this “fallen” character and he has perhaps the worst monotone I’ve ever heard… Now back to the best actress noms… Yes, Naruto has two in the Best Voice Actress list completing it with Susan Dalian who voices Haku… I know and understand that Haku is suppose to be as androgynous as possible, but this is just ridiculous… And if Naruto gets the Best Cast award, there will be blood…. So in the Best Voice Actor category I am rooting for Crispin Freeman, since I’m a huge Slayers fan and he does a good job, too bad that’s not the “reason” he’s there… He does do a good jod with Alucard’s voice in Hellsing as well as Hellsing Ultimate along with the other roles he’s listed for. And in the Best Voice Actress category… I’ve never really watched the stuff listed dubbed, but out of respect for Princess Tutu I will support Duck’s voice actress Luci Christian. And remember people, if the character is male, get a male voice and if the character is female, get a female voice. No mixing of the genders please.

On a different note I’m supporting “Heart of a Sword” from Rurouni Kenshin in the Best Anime Theme Song category.

And on a totally different note than the last, somehow the winner of Project Runway (something I don’t watch) will be designing the outfits for the presenters….
