Here’s my try at getting back into this routine!

Did everyone hear what the Thai Police are doing to punish officers who are late and other stuff? The punishment is *drumroll* they have to wear Hello Kitty armbands! I kid you not, just check out this link.

For those who haven’t heard yet, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is getting a second season.

And the Anime Club spree of watching anime and then it being licensed continues! Ouran High School Host Club has been licensed by FUNimation and announced at Otakon 2007. Hopefully they don’t ruin it to much…

In other licensing news, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Toward The Terra…, Ayakashi Ayashi, and My-Otome Zwei have been claimed by Bandai Entertainment.

The first Death Note DVD will be out in November sometime. Now if only I can get my hands on the last 7 episodes… but it looks like I’ll have to pay for them.

Bleach will soon be available for legal downloads from Direct2Drive.com and totalvid starting August 31st. I’m actually liking this trend that has started, I pay for the episodes and not the extra stuff I never watch on the DVDs. Although I don’t watch Bleach so this isn’t going to help me much, there is always Death Note to finish.

Rumor on the street is that Voltron is next in line for a live action movie.

In other movie news, the live action L spin-off movie has a release date in Japan for Febuary 9, 2008. Sounds like another live action movie in the future of the Anime Club.

Anyone up for a $1600 gundam t-shirt?

If anyone is lucky enough to have an iPhone, it looks like they will be able to download manga in the near future.

For those of you who own an Xbox, you can download some anime from Xbox Live from FUNimation.
