Devil May Cry Review
I actually meant to get to this one this past semester, but that didn’t really work out. I for one have never played the video games, but after some quick research on good old wikipedia I was able to know the backstory. It’s a nice 13 episode action series, that doesn’t really focus on the main story until episode 12. When episode 12 came some things made sense that occurred throughout the series. Dante is still the main character and Lady and Trish make appearances as well. This action anime focuses on what it is, action. Plenty of blood and guts, with some character development here and there. There is also a little girl that follows Dante around, but besides that I felt fulfilled. I did think it was a bit short, but I prefer things to be cut short instead of being dragged out.
I give it a 3.5/5.
Enjoy the Winter Break and maybe, just maybe I’ll have some new things to write reviews about.
Calling All!
As many can notice the blog was practically dead this past semester. I just wanted to know who is interested so I can get you all set up so you can start taking over. I might, and I stress might, be able to restart the anime news for the week of again. Also, seeing how the e-board is going abroad I thought this would be the best time for members to take part in this blog.

We haves lot of different events planned as well; these are just our weekly meetings, Halloween, and our biggest end of semester event, Uberfest! Read the rest of this entry »
Good Bye Spiderman, hello Robotech!
Well, it seems like Voltron and DBZ aren’t the only popular anime franchise being made into a live action movie. You can now add Robotech to the list, with none other than Tobey Maguire being the main lead. Freaky. You know with all the movies being made from anime franchises, there’s now a small chance that one of them will be good! Huzzah! Thanks to ign for the news. Though just wondering: what’s the latest on the EVA movies…???
Millennial Monsters Book Review
That’s right a book review! Ah! In any case, Millennial Monsters: Japanese Toys and the Global Imagination is written by Anne Allison, and attempts to explain one question: How the hell did Japan become a huge factor in kids and young adult culture, and in particular, the toy industry?
