The Tentative AUAS Schedule
Hey everyone. As you hopefully know my now, our first event, our sushi run to Tono’s, is this Friday, and our first weekly meeting is this Saturday night at MGC-245, 7pm. To people who didn’t attend the club fair today though, I wanted to post for them our tentative schedule for the semester, which we had at the club fair. We haves lot of different events planned as well; these are just our weekly meetings, Halloween, and our biggest end of semester event, Uberfest!
A couple of quick notes: Anime Bento will be explained at our first event, but essentially the movies are being shown one time only at select movie theaters, and the AUAS will be going as a group to one of the films. As to which one, you’ll have to come to the event.
As you’ll also see, we have a bunch of different theme nights, such as Racing and 80’s Night. Part of the reason we’re doing this is because we think it’s a cool idea. (: The other reason is because we’re working together with the AU Gamers on these theme nights, and trying to make sure we work together as much as we can. We feel that this alliance between the AUAS and the AU gamers can only make both of our events that much better.
We tried to have a bunch of different varied series and movies this semester, from the common (Tenchi Muyo) to the obscure (Cosmo Police Justy). Again, this is only tentative; we might get the rights to show a movie, or be unable to find it–but we hope that this is the schedule. If you have any comments, suggestions, complaints or priases, feel free to post. We’re always open to suggestions from our members. But no more delays! Here it is, our tentative schedule!
